Kickass Blogger Recommendations - Nadine's Peanut Butter Cookies

Sooo... I wrote this post almost a month ago before I started my sugar reduction project.  As much as I enjoyed these, it might be a while before I make them again, because I need a temptation-less house right now.  But I have hopes for the future!

Another installment of things from other bloggers that made Jenn's life better (last month was smoothies).  Before I begin singing Nadine's praises, I want you all to take note: I DOCUMENTED SOMETHING!  I took several pictures of the process.  This is utterly amazing.

So, it's a recipe for peanut butter cookies.  I'm not going to repeat the recipe here (link above), but the first part is pretty normal.

But then there's a trick that I'd never seen before (and that I didn't use the first time so I had to make these twice).  The dough is fairly wet, and when you form the balls you roll them in sugar before putting on the pan.  After getting scolded by Nadine, I DID NOT DEVIATE from the recipe a second time.

This next picture is entirely unnecessary, but I'm kind of proud of all these pictures, so I'm adding it anyway.

So, like I said, I made these twice.  The first time I didn't follow the instructions and I also used this natural large-grained sugar that I bought at Costco thinking "it's less refined, which is good!" and the bag said "great for baking!"  Costco lied.  I've used it several times now and it's never great for baking.

But anyway, the second time I followed her recipe to the letter, they were amazing.  Ryan managed to snag a couple before I demolished them and he requested that I make them again.  So, boyfriend approved!

Have you made anyone else's recipes?  Which ones were the best?  Have you ever used the "natural" sugars?
